Indicatively, we can mention that in Komotini operates a program for autonomous living of disabled people, in a specially designed space, so that our fellow citizens with various disabilities are guided by experienced and trained staff, in order to improve their living conditions.
At the same time, many cultural and sports activities are being developed in the Municipality of Komotini, such as KomoRun, which consists of a Half Marathon Road of 21,000 meters and a Road of Mass Participation of 5,000 meters.
